Aviation Website Maintenance

Wingman Website Care Plans

Your website doesn’t stop needing attention after launch day. WordPress sites require regular updates, security monitoring, backups, and performance checks — and skipping that maintenance creates real problems. Wingman Website Care Plans handle all of it, so you can focus on running your aviation business instead of managing your website yourself.

Every plan includes managed hosting, plugin licenses, auto-updating legal pages, privacy-focused analytics, and monthly health reports. You pick the tier that fits your needs. We handle the rest.

The Why

Why Your Website Needs Ongoing Maintenance

A WordPress website runs on layers of software — the WordPress core, a theme, plugins, PHP, and server software. Each layer receives regular updates for security patches, bug fixes, and compatibility improvements. When those updates don’t get applied, problems stack up

Security

Outdated plugins and themes are the number-one way WordPress sites get hacked. Automated bots scan constantly for vulnerable software — regular updates close those gaps before they're exploited.

Performance

Software updates often include speed improvements. Skipping them means your site gradually slows down — and slow sites lose both visitors and search rankings.

Compatibility

WordPress, PHP, and plugins all evolve on their own timelines. When one piece updates and the others don't, things break. Managed updates keep everything working together.

Backups

Even with strong security, things can go wrong — a bad update, an honest mistake, or an edge-case conflict. A recent backup means your site gets restored quickly instead of rebuilt from scratch.

What's Included

What’s Included in Every Plan

Regardless of which tier you choose, every Wingman Care Plan covers the essentials.

Managed Cloud Hosting

Your site runs on enterprise-grade servers with an SSL certificate, CDN, and DNS management included.

WordPress Updates

Core, plugin, and theme updates are tested for compatibility before being applied to your live site.

Security Monitoring

Your site is protected by a firewall, vulnerability scanning every 6 hours, intrusion prevention, and DDoS protection.

Nightly Backups

Your site is backed up daily to three independent locations — the server, offsite cloud storage, and a third-party backup with 50-day retention

SSL and Domain Monitoring

We watch your certificate and domain expiration dates so nothing lapses unexpectedly.

Premium Licenses

Your page builder, CSS framework, forms, SEO, image optimization, custom fields, and more are all included while your plan is active.

Auto-Updating Legal Pages

Your Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, Disclaimer, and Cookie Policy update automatically via Termageddon as privacy laws change. You have full access to your account and are responsible for reviewing content with your own legal counsel.

Privacy-Focused Analytics

Track your traffic, top pages, and referral sources via Plausible without cookie consent banners or sharing visitor data with third parties. Delivered via email summaries, a live dashboard, and an admin widget.

Monthly Health Reports

Uptime, security scans, update log, backup status, SSL/domain status, and a Core Web Vitals snapshot — delivered by the 5th business day of each month.

Dedicated Email Delivery

Form submissions and site notifications are routed through Postmark so they reach your inbox, not spam folders.

What Our Clients Say

We don’t do contracts or lock-ins — our clients stay because the work speaks for itself. Here’s what they have to say about working with us.

Writing as the former Chairman of the Minnesota Aviation Hall of Fame, I would like to recognize the fine work done by Mr. John Chvatal of Trinity Aviation Solutions, LLC in re-imaging and updating our website. It was a pleasure to work with him; he listened carefully to our Board, then incorporated his own ideas to bring our site up to standards of current media needs, giving a new look to our recognized face in the aviation community.

Section Heading

Write a compelling headline.

This is just placeholder text. Don’t be alarmed, this is just here to fill up space since your finalized copy isn’t ready yet.

DMARC (Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting, and Conformance) is an email security protocol that prevents other people from sending emails that look like they came from your domain. Without it, scammers can spoof your email address — which damages your reputation and can cause your legitimate emails to land in spam. DMARC monitoring (included in Single Engine and Multi-Engine plans) watches your domain's email authentication setup and alerts us to any spoofing attempts or deliverability issues.

An SEO health audit is a technical review of your website's search engine readiness. We crawl your site and check for common issues — missing or duplicate page titles, broken internal and external links, missing image alt text, unoptimized meta descriptions, oversized images, security header gaps, and page speed factors like render-blocking scripts and caching configuration. You'll receive a summary of what's working, what needs attention, and recommended fixes. This is a technical health check, not an SEO strategy or keyword research engagement — it tells you whether the foundation is solid so search engines can properly crawl and index your site. Multi-Engine plans include a quarterly audit. Single Engine plans may receive a semi-annual audit when unused task credits are available.

Yes. Your care plan is month-to-month with 30 days' written notice. Service continues through the end of your billing period. When you cancel, you'll receive a complete backup of your site (files and database), help transferring your DNS records, and a list of the plugin licenses you'll need to purchase on your own. If you want to come back later, you're always welcome — reactivation is at current pricing, and a site health audit ($150) is required to assess any issues from the time without maintenance.

Yes. Most of what a care plan covers happens regardless of whether you touch your website. WordPress, PHP, and your plugins still release updates. Security threats still target your site. SSL certificates and domains still expire. Backups still need to run. Legal requirements still change. A site that "just sits there" without maintenance becomes a security risk within months — and a major liability within a year.

Security reduces risk. Backups eliminate it. Even with a firewall, vulnerability scanning, and regular updates, things can go wrong — a plugin conflict during an update, an accidental content deletion, or a sophisticated attack that slips through. Your site is backed up to three independent locations daily (hourly on Multi-Engine), with 50-day retention. If anything happens, we can restore your site quickly rather than rebuilding from scratch.

WordPress powers over 40% of all websites, which makes it a frequent target for automated attacks. The WordPress core, themes, and plugins all release updates that patch security vulnerabilities, fix bugs, and maintain compatibility with evolving web standards. Skipping updates doesn't just mean missing new features — it means leaving known security holes open. We apply updates after testing them on a staging environment, so your live site stays stable.

Support tasks cover routine website work — updating text or images, changing links or menu items, troubleshooting errors, evaluating or installing plugins, and answering general website questions. Each task is 15 minutes. If a task runs longer, it uses additional slots (rounded up to the nearest 15 minutes). Unused tasks don't roll over. If you need more than your included tasks in a given month, additional work is billed at your plan's hourly rate. You'll always get an estimate before any additional work begins.

Your plan includes 25,000 monthly visits and 5 GB of disk storage. Occasional traffic spikes are fine — we won't throttle your site or charge overage fees for a busy month. If your traffic consistently exceeds 25,000 visits for three or more months, we'll discuss adjusting your hosting to match your growth. For storage, we'll notify you at 80% capacity and recommend image optimization first before any hosting changes.

Every site we build meets WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) standards. Accessibility isn't a care plan add-on — it's built into the original design and development. Your care plan ensures that accessibility is maintained as content is updated and plugins evolve. If an update introduces an accessibility issue, we catch it and fix it.

Plausible is a privacy-focused analytics tool. It tracks your traffic, top pages, referral sources, and visitor geography — the data you actually need to understand how your website is performing. Unlike Google Analytics, Plausible doesn't use cookies, doesn't require a consent banner, doesn't collect personal data, and doesn't share your visitors' information with third parties. It's lightweight (under 1KB), so it doesn't slow your site down. You get clear, useful data without the privacy trade-offs.

Your care plan covers all the premium software used to build and run your site — page builder, CSS framework, custom fields, forms, email delivery, SEO, image optimization, media organization, analytics, legal pages, backups, and code snippets. If your site uses search/filtering plugins, those are included too. You don't need to purchase or renew any of these licenses while your plan is active. If you ever cancel, we'll provide a full list of what's installed and where to buy your own licenses.

You can — WordPress is open source and anyone can apply updates. The risk is in what happens when an update breaks something. We test every update on a staging copy of your site before applying it to your live site. If something conflicts, we catch it and fix it before your visitors see a problem. We also handle server management, security monitoring, backups, legal compliance, and analytics — tasks that require tools and expertise beyond clicking "update" in the WordPress dashboard.
